Merc City is a fast first-person shooter that runs in your browser. Press Quick Play and you are in a live free-for-all with other players within seconds: no lobby, no waiting for a match to start. Want to play with your own group? Create a lobby and share the room code.
Merc City is the rebuilt successor to MercZone. You fight across Roads End, a dusk-lit stretch of rooftops, alleys and ramps, where height and cover decide most fights. Every round is a free-for-all against the clock: tag opponents, survive, and top the board before time runs out. Then the scores reset and the next round starts in the same place, so you can play one round or keep going all evening.
Shots are judged fairly for everyone: the game checks each hit against what the shooter actually saw, so a moving target you had in your sights counts, even on a laggy connection. It is built to run smoothly on school Chromebooks as well as gaming PCs, and it adjusts its picture quality to keep the frame rate steady.
